Meet the Founder of Thomas Coaching Company, Patricia Thomas About
I work with an exceptional network of coaches and business professionals who participate in client projects based on the following specialties: behavioral and core competency assessments, management training, and business and strategic plan development, executive and transition coaching.
My company allows me to stoke my passion for helping people get out of their own way and combines it with this team to provide an extensive toolbox for clients to access while working toward their goals.
I am the CEO and lead consultant of Thomas Coaching Company, a consulting, coaching and training firm that supports for-profit and non-profit leaders and their teams.
In a former life I was a Regional Vice President for Consumer Marketing with AT&T. I also had assignments in International Marketing, Product Management and relationship management of Fortune 50 national accounts. My corporate experience enables me to use my business acumen to help leaders transform their organizations.
In addition to coaching and consulting I conduct strategic planning retreats, facilitate business growth and development sessions for women-owned businesses, conduct talent management assessments and train new and experienced leaders to master the skill of leading others.
I live in Queens, New York and from that vantage point, serve a global clientele. I received my BA in English from Michigan State University (go Spartans), and spent seven years as a high school English teacher. I received an MA in English and Communications from Columbia University and completed the Sales and Marketing Executives Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. I trained with Coach University and am a Certified Behavioral and Values Analyst and Master Certified Coach candidate.
Community service is an important element of the company’s social responsibility platform and we are aligned with organizations that share our values including the LaGuardia Airport Club of Kiwanis International, and the Greater Queens Chapter of The Links, Inc., a local branch of this international professional women’s organization.
